Kuochu James Li is Vice President of Engineering at Marzetti, bringing more than 25 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and capital project leadership across the food and beverage industry. Throughout his career, he has held engineering leadership roles with General Mills, Nestlé, Abbott Nutrition, and Marzetti, leading global engineering initiatives, manufacturing projects, and operational improvements.

Li earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his MBA from Franklin University. He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Ohio, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and has completed graduate-level coursework in Industrial Systems Engineering at Ohio State. His expertise spans process engineering, project management, manufacturing systems, and engineering strategy, with a focus on advancing operational excellence and innovation in food manufacturing.
